The Chaparral Elementary School Parent Faculty Association and Cal Poly Pomona University have forged an educational technology partnership. This partnership began in May 2005 with the development of Chaparral’s new interactive PFA web site. A team of 7 web developers and web designers, all Computer Information Systems (CIS) students at Cal Poly Pomona, worked collaboratively with with senior members of the Chaparral Parent Faculty Association to design and implement the new site. The site’s purpose is to provide and facilitate greater communication between Chaparral families as well as educators.

We are pleased and excited about our partnership with Cal Poly Pomona and believe that our collaborative efforts will accrue long-term benefits to our students, teachers, parents and the community!
